Elon Musk’s X and xAI filed a lawsuit upon Apple and OpenAI on Monday, claiming that the two corporation are plotting to stifle competition.
“In a despairing bid to guard its smartphone monopoly, Apple has joined forces with the corporations that most advantages from inhibiting competition and development in AI: OpenAI, a monopolist within the marketplace for generative AI chatbots,” the lawsuit reads, relating to Apple’s partnership with OpenAI to incorporate ChatGPT into its systems.
This lawsuit is part of an extended series of disputes among Musk and Altman, who hold to throw public jabs at one another. Once a co-founder and co-chair of OpenAI, Musk has sued to block OpenAI’s transformative right into a for-income organization. He also submitted an unsolicited bid to take over OpenAI for $97.4 billion, which the corporation rejected.
This is a remarkable claim given what I have heard claimed that Elon does to manipulate X to advantage himself and his own corporation and harm his competitors and people he doesn’t like. https://t.co/HlgzO4c2iC

The partnership among Apple and OpenAI turned into announced last June, with collaborative capabilities anticipated to deliver in December.
OpenAI and Apple did not straight away respond to a request for remark.
