Google declared presenting on Tuesday that it’s presenting Gemini’s Personal Intelligence feature to customers in India. The feature lets customers join their Google accounts, such as Gmail and Google Photos, then ask Gemini questions to get personalized solutions.

After linking their services, customers ought to ask something like, “What are my tour plans for Jaipur?” to get information from their emails or photos. The feature can also indicate tp current YouTube videos that users have watched to get thoughts. The company stated that Gemini will detect sources for its solutions so that you can confirm details, if required.

At release, the Personal Intelligence feature will be constrained to AI Pro and AI Ultra users in India. Moreover, Google stated that it goals to amplify it to free customers in the coming weeks.

The expansion to India brings Gemini’s capabilities to another extensive market. Google debuted Personal Intelligence in beta in the U.S. in January, some of the paid tiers. The company made it available to all users within the US. In March and has also released the feature in Japan.

Google cautioned that Gemini doesn’t continually get the context for your data right and may make links between fully unrelated topics.

“Gemini may also struggle with timing or nuance, mainly regarding relationship changes, like divorces, or your various interests. For instance, seeing hundreds of photos of you at a golf course would possibly lead it to expect you love golf. But it misses the nuance: You don’t love golf, but you like your son, and that’s why you’re there. If Gemini gets this wrong, you could simply inform it (“I don’t like golf”),” the company explained in the blog post.

The company is seeding advanced AI features to users in India, one in all its largest markets, at a quick pace. In March, the company released Gemini in Chrome for users in the country. Last week, it also allowed an agentic flow of booking restaurants by AI mode in India by partnering with platforms like Zomato, Swiggy, and EazyDiner.
